What is TB-500?

TB-500 is the synthetic version of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), a 43-amino-acid peptide present in almost all human and animal cells and found at high concentration in platelets and wound fluid.

Mechanism of Action

Tβ4’s central action is binding and sequestering G-actin, which regulates actin polymerisation and promotes cell migration. Research shows it supports angiogenesis, keratinocyte and endothelial migration, reduced inflammation and decreased fibrosis.

Research Applications

TB-500 is studied in research on wound healing, muscle and tendon repair, cardiac tissue after injury, corneal repair and hair-follicle regeneration.

Storage & Handling

Supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder for maximum stability. Store unopened vials at -20°C, protected from light. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, keep refrigerated at 2–8°C and use within the timeframe appropriate to your study protocol.
