What is Selank?

Selank is a heptapeptide that combines the tuftsin sequence (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg) with a stabilising Pro-Gly-Pro tail.

Mechanism of Action

Selank modulates GABAergic signalling and the balance of monoamine neurotransmitters, and influences BDNF expression and cytokine profiles. It is studied as an anxiolytic that does not produce the sedation associated with benzodiazepines in study models.

Research Applications

Selank is investigated in research on anxiety, stress response, memory and immune modulation.

Storage & Handling

Supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder for maximum stability. Store unopened vials at -20°C, protected from light. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, keep refrigerated at 2–8°C and use within the timeframe appropriate to your study protocol.
