What is NAD+?

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is a coenzyme found in every living cell. Tissue NAD+ levels decline with age, which has made it a major focus of longevity and metabolic research.

Mechanism of Action

NAD+ is a key electron carrier in glycolysis, the TCA cycle and oxidative phosphorylation. It is also a required substrate for sirtuins and PARP enzymes, linking it to DNA repair, gene regulation and mitochondrial health.
