What is Tesamorelin?
Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of human growth hormone-releasing hormone with a trans-3-hexenoyl group added to its N-terminus, a modification that increases resistance to enzymatic breakdown while preserving activity at the GHRH receptor. How it is understood to work
It binds pituitary GHRH receptors to stimulate pulsatile growth-hormone secretion, which drives a downstream rise in IGF-1.
