What is Chonluten?
Chonluten is one of the short peptide bioregulators developed by Vladimir Khavinson’s group in St. Petersburg, with the sequence Glu-Asp-Gly. It is the second respiratory-associated member of the family, alongside Bronchogen.
How it is understood to work
Reported work suggests it modulates expression of genes involved in inflammation and the stress response in cultured cells, consistent with the family-wide model of peptide-chromatin interaction. No receptor target has been confirmed.
Research status
Studies are preclinical, using cell cultures and animal models of respiratory tissue aging and inflammation. The evidence base is small and concentrated in a single research network.

Handling & storage
Supplied as a lyophilized powder; store unopened vials at -20C away from light, and keep any reconstituted solution refrigerated at 2-8C for short-term use.

How does Chonluten differ from Bronchogen?
Both are linked to respiratory tissue, but Chonluten is the tripeptide Glu-Asp-Gly while Bronchogen is the tetrapeptide Ala-Glu-Asp-Leu, and they are studied separately.
What should a COA confirm?
HPLC purity and a mass matching Glu-Asp-Gly; for tripeptides, the mass result is the more important identity check.
