What is Thymalin?

Thymalin is a complex of polypeptides extracted from the thymus gland, developed in bioregulator research. It is one of the earliest thymic peptide preparations to be studied.

Mechanism of Action

Thymalin is reported to restore the balance of T-lymphocyte subpopulations, stimulate cellular immunity and support the regenerative capacity of immune tissue.

Research Applications

Thymalin is studied in research on immune deficiency, immune ageing and the regulation of immune responses.

Storage & Handling

Supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder for maximum stability. Store unopened vials at -20°C, protected from light. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, keep refrigerated at 2–8°C and use within the timeframe appropriate to your study protocol.
