What is FOXO4-DRI?

FOXO4-DRI is a D-retro-inverso peptide designed to interfere with the interaction between the transcription factor FOXO4 and the tumour-suppressor protein p53.

Mechanism of Action

In senescent cells, FOXO4 holds p53 in the nucleus and prevents apoptosis. By disrupting this interaction, FOXO4-DRI releases p53 and selectively triggers apoptosis in senescent cells while sparing healthy cells in study models.

Research Applications

FOXO4-DRI is studied in research on cellular senescence, age-related tissue decline and healthspan.

Storage & Handling

Supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder for maximum stability. Store unopened vials at -20°C, protected from light. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, keep refrigerated at 2–8°C and use within the timeframe appropriate to your study protocol.
